SEASON 7 | Episode 52: Warnings Against Idols

Now among other nations, the Israeli people found themselves tempted by the foreign traditions and gods of the nations around them. Knowing His people are quick to be lured away from Him, He makes a promise to them--to drive out from the land their enemies and in return, He commands them to continue their fidelity to Him. Today, we can draw out truth from this history--that wherever the Lord moves us or settles us, we are called to practice an affectionate loyalty to our God, resisting the allure of all idols.
